Looking Ahead to the Value-Based Care Strategy Forum:
Why Patient Data Access Belongs in Every Conversation

As we get ready for the Value-Based Care Strategy Forum in Orlando this December, the energy surrounding this event continues to grow. It has become one of the most forward-thinking gatherings in our industry, bringing together operators, innovators, payers, health systems, and investors who are shaping what value-based care looks like today and what it will become tomorrow.

ICD Media Group shared five reasons this conference stands out, and each one perfectly reflects the challenges and opportunities ahead for our healthcare community.

5 Reasons This Conference Matters Right (ICD Media Group)

  1. Attendees leave with practical strategies they can put to work immediately. This is not a theoretical event. It is built for leaders who are actively transforming care delivery.
  2. There is a strong emphasis on digitizing and streamlining workflows. As interoperability expectations rise, modernization is no longer optional. The agenda features leading health systems, payers, and venture-backed innovators sharing proven models for scaling high-value care. These are insights drawn from real operational experience.
  3. The focus is on implementation, adaptation, and proving value in a healthcare environment that shifts faster every year. It is all about what works in practice.
  4. Most importantly, ICD calls out the relationships that form at this event. The forum is intentionally designed to connect leaders who matter and spark partnerships that last.

These themes create the perfect setting for conversations about access, equity, technology, patient engagement, and long-term sustainability in value-based care.

Why I Am Excited to Contribute to This Dialogue

This year, I will be speaking about a topic that is deeply important to me and central to the future of coordinated care: empowering patients through meaningful access to their own health information.

Providers have the data.
Value-based care organizations have the data.
Now the patient can have it too.

That shift changes everything. When patients can see and carry their health information, they become informed partners rather than passive participants. Care becomes more coordinated. Gaps close faster. Transitions go more smoothly. Engagement improves. Outcomes rise.

Introducing the Health Access ID Card

During my session, I will be highlighting the Health Access ID Card, one of our most impactful tools at AaNeel.

The concept is simple. The value is significant. The card enables patients to carry real-time, actionable health information with them. This creates a true longitudinal record that follows them across providers and across care settings.

It also directly supports the CMS push toward interoperability, transparency, and patient empowerment within value-based care.

Why This Conversation Belongs at the Strategy Forum

Everything the Value-Based Care Strategy Forum represents aligns with the message of patient-centered access.

Digitization
Data transparency
Proving value
Scaling what works
Building trusted partnerships

Giving patients meaningful access to their information supports all of it. It streamlines workflows. It creates equity. It strengthens continuity. It improves adherence. It builds trust. It empowers the patient voice in ways our current systems have often overlooked.

See You in Orlando

I am grateful to be part of the speaker lineup and excited to contribute to a program that is advancing smarter, more connected, and more equitable care delivery.

If you will be in Orlando, I hope you will join me for this conversation. These are the discussions that move value-based care forward.

I look forward to connecting with colleagues, meeting new partners, and sharing a vision for a future where every stakeholder, including the patient, has the information they need to succeed.
